B.Kin., NHPC Massage: Craniosacral Therapy, Deep Tissue and Relaxation
Kathy is a registered massage therapist with the NHPC and has been practicing since 2000. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta in 1996. This extensive background in kinesiology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology allows her to develop a specialized treatment plan involving a variety of therapeutic massage techniques along with cupping to release myofascial restrictions. As well, she endeavours to provide post treatment exercises to address the root of the dysfunction. Along with massage therapy, she has developed a passion for Cranial Sacral Therapy (practicing since 2000, Levels 1-4) and Reflexology because of their effectiveness in treating many chronic conditions.

What do you do when you aren’t massaging?
Love being outdoors and climbing. Also like to find a sunny spot in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist?
I enjoy making people feel better. The human body is fascinating and I love figuring out how to make it function better.
