Andrew has been involved in sport throughout his life, playing basketball, soccer and volleyball at competitive levels. As his love grew for basketball, Andrew began to train teenagers in classes of varying skill levels. After completing his degree in Kinesiology at York University, Andrew quickly enrolled into the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Throughout his stay at Sutherland-Chan, he specified in courses such at Sport Massage, Rhythmic Technique and, Fascial Release, as well as being certified in Kinesio taping (K-taping).
Combined with a kinesiology degree and Massage Therapy diploma, Andrew has developed a way of treating clients based on visual analysis of body mechanics, as well as soft tissue assessments, with respect to the interdependence of tissues throughout the body. Andrew’s treatments are based on relieving the pain, but also addressing the underlying cause.

Andrew enjoys snowboarding, hiking, recreation sports, yoga and playing music.
What made you decide to become a massage therapist
Having positive massage experiences for whatever issue I had growing up — along with my passion for the body, health, and movement — my desire to help people achieve comfort and strength in their own body, blossomed.
